Closure of 200 Club
The 200 Club was set up many years ago as a major club fundraiser for the club.
Over the years, despite various attempts to attract new members to contribute, the number of monthly contributions has declined.
Over recent months the numbers have fallen to a level where the funds received are insufficient to cover the prize money.
The club committee has therefore taken the economic decision to close the scheme after the receipt of the December payments and the payments of the Christmas draw prize monies. (December payments will be required for members to be included in the Christmas draw).
The club secretary will be sending out letters to members of the 200 Club requesting cancellation of the standing orders after this months payment.
The club would like to thank all members over the years who have supported us with this scheme and hope that you will support the remaining fundraising events and club facilities which provide financial benefit to the club such as the Welly Day, social events and bar and catering facilities.
